This policy explains how paid plans on Culebra Codex are billed, how to cancel, and when refunds are available. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Plans & prices
- Codex Membership — $19.99 / month. Unlocks all premium ebooks and guides. Does not include courses.
- Student Tuition — $49 / month. Includes everything in Membership plus all courses, graded exams, and certificates.
- À la carte. One-time purchases of individual items, which remain accessible to your account after purchase.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
2. Automatic renewal & authorization
3. How to cancel
You can cancel anytime from your account's billing settings in the Codex app, or by emailing [support email]. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period: you will not be charged again, and you keep access until that period ends. We do not provide partial-period refunds for the current month except as described below or as required by law.
4. Refunds
- Subscriptions. If you cancel within [14] days of your first charge and have not made substantial use of paid content, you may request a full refund of that charge by emailing [support email].
- Renewals. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, but contact us within [7] days of a renewal if you believe it was charged in error and we'll review it in good faith.
- À la carte. Because individual purchases grant immediate permanent access to digital content, they are non-refundable once accessed, except where required by law.
5. Price changes
We may change subscription prices. If a price changes, we will notify you in advance by email, and the new price applies to your next renewal. You may cancel before renewal if you do not accept the change.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend access to paid content until payment succeeds. Extended non-payment may result in cancellation of the subscription.
7. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law (including, in the U.S., the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act and applicable state auto-renewal laws). Where local law grants stronger cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply.
8. Contact
Billing questions or refund requests: [support email].
